Tower Night Stay at Jungle – Bagmara Community Forest Chitwan National Park is a great place. It was stablished in 1973 as Nepal’s Frist National Park. Chitwan National Park covers 952.63 km² in the Terai lowlands. Time ago it was a place for Royal family and important guests from other countries for hunting.
Let me tell you about the history of Chitwan National Park. In the 1800s to 1950s the forests in Chitwan Valley were like a place for royal people and important guests for hunt. In 1973 the government made it a national park to protect the animals. Later in 1975 the army came to help keep the park safe. the United Nation 1984: Recognizing its exceptional biodiversity and successful species recovery, UNESCO inscribed the park as a World Heritage Site.
How to get Chitwan National Park:
- You can take a bus from Kathmandu: which takes 5 to 6 hours.
- You can also fly to Kathmandu – Bharatpur: It takes 20 Min to Baharatpur Airport Then take a taxi to Sauraha. It takes 30 min to Hotels.
- You can take a private car: which takes 3.5 to 4 hours.
