About Us

Hotel Parkside situated in the main entrance of the Chitwan National Park, run by private family. Hotel Parkside is equppied with solar, every rooms are well furnish, rooms are with telivision. Around the hotel there is nice garden. Hotel Parkside has its tranquil roof terrace with views over looking the National Park, rice fields and beyond to the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre. In addition to these we have our own restaurant, where you can get number of good dishes like Nepalese, Chinese, American and continental. Near to the hotel there is Tharu Village. You can have tharu cultural experience. Every evening you could go to the bank of Rapti River which just few minute walk from Hotel. The bank is full with nice huts and terrace where you can enjoy sun set view and dancing music. It's more or less gives you little beach experience.
Parkside gives you Direct contact with Nepalese family. We are not a commercial tourist enterprise but a Nepalese family business that will be looking after you individually and attending to your wishes.

How to get Hotel Parkside:
Form Kathmandu or Pokhara it's 4 to 5 hour drive by tourist bus, to the last bus stop (Chitrasari) where our hotel staff waits for you. If you take public transportaion to Tandi (Sauraha Chock) our people will then bring you to the hotel. A 25 mins flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur, 30 mins from the airport to the hotel by Car or Jeep.

What to bring while Jungle Safari in Nepal:
May- September are Hot & Rainy months so please do bring a Rain coat and light clothing.
Dec-Feb is very cold so please bring warm clothing.

What else:
Sun hats, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, insect repellents, flashlight, light walking shoes, bicoculars and if possible a book about the National Park's flora and fauna. Please do bring general medicines for Fever, Stomach Problems, Headache, Plasters.
